ABOUT US

Mark Skapin is a hitting instructor and showcases director while taking a brief break from his college coaching career. He wrapped up successful turnarounds at Cottey College (NAIA), Polk State (NJCAA) and Southeastern (NJCAA) with close to a 75% winning percentage. Within that 9 year span he had programs lead the country in HR per game twice and fielding percentage once with two top 20 finishes. Teams won Region XVI Championships in 2017 and 2018 and National Championship Opening Round appearances 5 times. Prior to Cottey College, Mark coached with MC Madness Fastpitch and the Ohio Lasers racking up a 421-85 career tournament record with a TCS National Championship in 2015 and an USA National Championship in 2017. 

Mark is currently overseeing 7 different showcases with partnerships with the premier organizations and facilities in Ohio. Select Showcases partner with USA Softball, the HFL, the Ohio Lasers, and the Ohio Stingrays to produce some of the top events in the entire Midwest.
